Money Management for Snowbirds
Unfortunately for many Snowbirds, the value of the Canadian loonie against the U.S. dollar dictates whether and for how long you might choose to spend time in the U.S. In the past when the dollar was much lower, many of you chose to put off your travel plans praying for the dollar to regain some of its current strength. The value of the dollar and ever increasing costs for health care and travel insurance are a tricky set of variables that have to be balanced against a successful Snowbird lifestyle.
